AP CS Principles

An introductory college-level computing course that introduces students to the breadth of the field of computer science. Students learn to design and evaluate solutions and to apply computer science to solve problems through the development of algorithms and programs(JavaScript or Python route available.)

Scratch Programming

Python Programming

Python is a popular programming language in many STEM fields. Two learning levels are offered - Beginner (work with strings, lists, loops, dictionaries, and functions) and Intermediate (write and implement algorithms.)

About Me

My name is Miriam Leal and I'm a certified computer science teacher.  My certifications include AP CS Principles, Python and AI with AutoAuto, Makey Makey, Scratch and TinkerCAD. I learned Python with Women Who Code and am retiring from CoderDojo Austin as a champion and mentor.

In my personal life, I am a homeschooling mom, gardener and geek of all things techie. Originally from the Rio Grande Valley, my family and I reside in Austin, TX since 2010.
